Five streamers with 'forage fish colors' and plenty of swimming action

THE NORWEGIAN STREAMER SERIES really works fine for brown trout, not only in Norway. Here are some letters!
Hello Andrè.
The 2.Sculpin worked! I am the Italian that goes to fish the Glomma. I was there in July. The water was low and warm and during the day I caught usually small grayling. For the big ones I had to wait the night. But also in daytime with a lot of light I could catch some nice trout (all about 1 kilo) with your 2.Sculpin. Every day 1- 2 trout.Take care,Renato Bugelli

Dear André,

Towards the end of last season (September here in Scotland ) I began experimenting with streamers in my local river. I was very impressed with your designs for baitfish and have been using them almost exclusively. Results have been quite good. No outsize fish but a couple much bigger than the average (and a couple of rare sea trout). Best wishes and tight lines

Simon

Hi Andre, yesterday I tried a new fly - the Norwegian Streamer in sculpin-style. On your web site I got some inspiration to tie a nearly unweighted fly which should fish just below the surface.
The result was a brown-trout of 55 cm and over 2 kg. Many regards & tight lines Thomas Lehmann

Hej!
Michael Eldborn, Sverige

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for the great streamer patterns you have on your web page. Two years ago I started fishing streamers whole heartedly, and the size of fish I’ve caught since is much larger than before.
Thanks again, this pattern is great, I have many friend asking me to tie some for them.

ABOUT THE NORWEGIAN STREAMER SERIES

ab_dnstreamer_serien_fiske.jpg (20913 bytes)

"Big fish eat small fish with as much right as they have power". Philosopher Benedictus de Spinoza:

The streamers in The Norwegian Streamer Series are imitations of common forage fish with a realistic silhouette and plenty of swimming action. The five streamers in the series are:

1.Trout
2.Sculpin
3.Minnow
4.Grayling
5.Char

They are consistent flies for both lake and stream predators, such as trout and char. Even a huge grayling may hook up on you with one of these. Use the 5.Char in rivers and lakes with char or a char/trout population. The 2.Sculpin imitation is found to be the all purpose streamer of the series, but the 3.Minnow imitation shown on the pictures is also a great streamer for trout and has caught some 5-6lb brown trouts and even one over 7lb - choose the streamer to tie on by asking yourself: What kind of small fish species are swimming around in the lake, pond, stream or river you're going to fish.

These flies are really some fine imitations of forage fish. And to say it like this: I am a dedicated dry fly fisherman, but when you get that vibrating strange feeling inside, that feeling you get after years and years in the same situation...just knowing that this hour is streamer hour, you feel that the only right choice is to put on a...yeah, small fish imitation...
Wonderful...
