The first brown trout early spring on my local river. I searched for 4 days before I saw a rising trout. It was early spring, maybe too early. But we write the date May, and the Baetis rhodanis are emerging. Rain, cold weather - and excellent rhodani weather. After 4 days, I see this very nice brown trout rising steady. I tie on a Baetis Micro Dun. Life is good :-)
